Tamara grew up in a small farm town outside of Seattle, Washingston. Th efirst time she ever sang in public she was 4 years old. She asked the minister at her church if she could sing on Easter Sunday. She sang 2 selectionsoff the top of her head. The 1st was "Here Comes Peter Cottontail", and the second was "Davy Crockett" Her older 8-year old brother was outraged and said "I'm never going to Sunday School with Tamie again."
Tamara grew up singing for friends and family and company at her home. Later on when she was older she sang in churches a lot, especially in the Seattle area.
Tamie's mother was her most important voice trainer, although all through school she was included in choirs and singing ensombles.
Bio:
My children for many years have encouraged me to enter a singing compeition. My husband, sister, and mother along with friends have also encouraged me.
Tamara Haynes has also done a lot of singing in homeless shelters, missions, and street musician and singing.
