In 2007 Nelson Delanuez finished in 1st place in a Hispanic televised talent search called "Buscando Estrellas" or Star Search in Miami, FL. He also competed in a local talent search sponsored by Premier Records in 2005 in Miami, FL and finished 4th out of 400 contestants.

Bio:
Nelson Delanuez was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Greenville, SC in December 2008 as a divine calling to serve the music ministry. By day he works as an Application Specialist at Greenville Hospital, University Medical Group, and by night he is the music directory at Abundant Life International Ministries located in Greenville. He has been married with Karina, his childhood sweetheart for 10 years, and they have 3 beautiful children ages 2, 7, and 12. Singing, playing the piano, and writing songs have been his passion for the past 10 years. When Nelson is not at work or church he enjoys cycling, hiking, rollerblading, snorkeling, swimming, or just a fun day at the park with his wife and kids. Nelson is also involved as a teacher in Music together of Greenville which is a musical approach where parents alongside their children, ages infant to 5 years old engage in music and movement as an artistic expression that bring families and communities together.
